In 1997, Dr. Rick Workman founded Heartland Dental after a long and successful career as a dentist. After running his own practice, Dr. Workman understood that most dentists started their career because they love helping patients – and unfortunately, running a practice often comes with other administrative, logistical, and business duties that fill up a dentist's schedule and hamper their ability to care for patients. Dr. Workman founded Heartland Dental to solve that problem, and since then, Heartland Dental has grown into the nation's leading dental support organization, providing comprehensive support and professional services to dentists and dental professionals all over the country.
