About This Office

Glen Burnie Dental Care is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our close-knit team on a part-time basis. What You’ll Do:

As our RDH, you’ll be the cornerstone of our patient care, providing top-notch dental hygiene services while building lasting relationships with our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing dental hygiene procedures such as cleanings, scaling, and root planing with precision and care.
  • Educating and empowering patients to take charge of their oral health.
  • Using your skills to create a positive and comfortable experience for every patient.
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records, ideally with Dentrix software (but don't worry if you’re new to it—we’re happy to train you!).
  • Collaborating seamlessly with our team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient outcomes.

About the Role:

This part-time position offers a flexible schedule, perfect for someone looking to balance work with other commitments. You’ll be working:

  • Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Plus, potentially one-half Friday per month

Qualifications:

  • Current dental hygienist license and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by office
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
