Position Summary:
Event Coordinator, Education
Are you a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented individual looking for a change? If so, we need you on our team! The Event Coordinator is responsible for supporting the various needs of the Education Department and booking travel for company sponsored events.
With more than 1,000 dental offices supported across 37 states, over 10,000 team members and over 1,600 supported doctors in our support, Heartland Dental has a proven track record of growth and success. We’re looking for professional individuals who are open, positive and mentally flexible to join our network of support
The Education coordinator will work with a team reporting directly to the Education Events Supervisor
Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:
- Support the Education Events Supervisor to ensure all inquiries are responded to in a timely manner
- Learn and utilize our Learning Management System to provide overall support with ……
- Capture supported doctor and/or employee information to book appropriate travel for events and courses
- Communicate all required and relevant event information to supported doctors and/or employees
- Maintain and track event supplies inventory and process orders for the Education department
- Pack materials and supplies needed for specific events and ship to accurate location
- Coordinate onsite meetings for Heartland Dental classes
- Adhere to mandatory standards of operations, policies, and procedures for events
Minimum Requirements:
- Must reside within driving distance from St. Louis, MO or Effingham, IL.
- Must possess excellent communication and listening skills
- Prior MS Office (Word and Excel) experience
- High level of attention to detail and ability to problem-solve
- Must be able to travel for 2-3 days at a time monthly

- Open positive and flexible
- Able to work on own without direct supervision
- Work well as a team
