Location: Bedford Avenue Dentistry - Nashville, TN
Job Type: Full-Time (Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Part-time candidates looking for three days a week will also be considered.
Bedford Avenue Dentistry is looking for a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our energetic and goal-oriented team. We are seeking a candidate with at least one year of experience who is passionate about patient care and thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Perform professional dental cleanings and preventive treatments
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Conduct periodontal screenings and charting
Take and review digital X-rays using Dexis
Assist in diagnosing and treating periodontal disease
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix
Utilize iTero scanning technology when applicable
Ensure infection control protocols are followed for a safe and sterile environment
Work collaboratively with dentists and team members to provide top-quality patient care
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Tennessee
Minimum of 1 year of experience required
Experience with Dentrix, Microsoft, Dexis, and iTero preferred (but not required)
Strong communication and patient education skills
A positive, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented setting
