Documentation and Insights Coordinator, Data Management
Heartland Dental is seeking a Documentation and Insights Coordinator to support the vision and mission of Heartland Dental by managing and organizing financial data, creating detailed documentation, and providing insights based on data analysis. This role is crucial for enhancing efficiency, security, and accessibility in document management.

This individual will work independently, but also as part of a dynamic team within the Revenue Cycle Management Department to meet company goals. To give you an idea of team structure, this individual will report to the Revenue Cycle Manager.
Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:
- Develop comprehensive documentation that accurately reflects findings, processes, and procedures for the Revenue Cycle Team.
- Compile and present revenue data in the form of reports, charts, or graphs for internal teams or stakeholders.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, security, and accessibility in document management.
- Manage and organize financial data to ensure it is easily accessible and secure.
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights that support decision-making processes.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure documentation and data management practices are aligned with company policies.
- The position will have access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job-related functions; regular HIPAA training, aligning with the specific role and responsibilities, will be required; and the individual will need to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience with process mapping tools and advanced Excel functions.
- Practical knowledge of data management and documentation practices.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical skills, solutions-oriented.
- Ability to handle sensitive material confidentially.
- Provides explanations and interpretations within the area of expertise.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks without supervision.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to create detailed and accurate documentation.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with data analysis and report generation.
- Knowledge of document management systems and best practices.
- Experience in a healthcare or dental support setting.
Physical Requirements:

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
