Available Schedule (Full-Time or Part-Time Available - we are flexible!)

  • Monday 9:00am-6:00pm
  • Tuesday 9:00am-6:00pm
  • Wednesday 9:00am-6:00pm
  • Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm
  • Friday 9:00am-2:00pm

60min recare, 90min new patient appointment!

SRP appointments are 60-90 minutes, flexible on hygienist need! 

 

Bi-weekly, hourly pay + ability to opt into Daily Pay to receive paycheck as earned. 

 

Ability to earn daily + quartlery bonuses!

 

We have arestin, iTero, velscope + CE coverage available! 

 

Full time is a minimum of 30HRS to receive full benefits package to include health insurance Paid Holidays, 401k, Dental, Vision, Wellness Benefits + More! 


Tru Family Dental - Joliet is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our compassionate and growing team! We provide a fun, positive, and easy-going environment where patient care is our top priority. Whether you’re an experienced hygienist or a new graduate, we welcome you to apply and become part of our dental family!

 
Responsibilities:

  • Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients

  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and best dental care practices

  • Perform periodontal charting and assessments

  • Take digital x-rays and assist in diagnosing dental conditions

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Dentrix

  • Ensure a comfortable and positive patient experience

  • Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care

  • Stay current on best practices and advancements in dental hygiene

Qualifications:

  • Active Dental Hygienist license in Illinois

  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills

  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities

  • Patient care experience and a passion for providing exceptional service

  • Experience with Dentrix is preferred but not required

  • Open to new graduates eager to grow in the field

Qualifications:

  • Current dental hygienist license
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by office
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
