Position Summary:

Requisition/Procure to Pay Process Manager

Heartland Dental is seeking a Requisition/Procure to Pay Process manager (R/P2P Manager) to fulfill a leadership role by supporting the vision and mission of Heartland Dental to positively impact company goals.  This individual will lead the design, implementation and ongoing management of the tools, systems, and processes used in streamlining the R2P process. 

With more than 1,800 dental offices supported across 39 states, over 20,000 team members and over 3,000 supported doctors in our support, Heartland Dental has a proven track record of growth and success. We’re looking for professional individuals who are open, positive and mentally flexible to join our network of support.

This individual will work independently, but also as part of a dynamic team within the Accounts Payable Department to meet company goals. To give you an idea of team structure, this individual will report to the Director of Procurement Accounting.

Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:

  • Serve as a partner with Business and Operations units to promote P2P's objectives and work with leadership and support office to resolve issues/non-compliance.
  • Understand all functional aspects of the P2P System becoming a subject matter expert.
  • Work with the System Administrator and ERP team to provide day-to-day administration of P2P in the areas of implementation, application support, process governance and improvement.
  • Assist in the design, development, testing, training and roll out of the P2P modules as required.
  • Provide high quality support to all end users helping them understand the procurement process and how to use basic and advanced features of the P2P System.
  • Train new users on the basics of using the P2P system allowing them to create requisitions, purchase orders and approving requisitions.
  • Create training materials and procedure manuals.
  • Promote a strong working relationship with internal stakeholders across the operations and business units.
  • Produce and analyze KPI's, dashboards, and other analytics to measure and improve performance.
  • Provide support for special projects, business initiatives, system upgrades etc. as needed.
  • Directs departmental training and mentoring process to maximize team members effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Assists with all external and internal audits to ensure complete, timely, and accurate responses to information requests.
  • Other projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in procure to pay technology, processes and best practices.
  • 5+ years' experience in procurement, subcontract administration, vendor management and accounts payable processes.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional business leaders.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and determine and implement effective action plans.
  • Desire and ability to work closely and collaboratively with other members of procurement, accounts payable, operations and business units.
  • Excellent analytical, written, oral, organizational, and presentation skills to influence company leadership and decisions at all levels

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • ImageNow experience
  • SAP Ariba experience
  • Service Channel experience

 

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Ability to travel with overnight stays as the position requires
