Macomb Dental Center is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our fun and friendly team! You can expect to be apart of an inclusive team of professionals who provide quality care daily to the Macomb community. We collaborate together, we celebrate together, and we grow together! 

 

Available Schedule (Flexible on Full-Time or Part-Time): 

  • Tuesday 7:30am-5:30pm
  • Wednesday 7:30am-5:30pm
  • Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm
  • Friday 7:30am-3:00pm 

Bi-weekly, hourly pay + ability to opt into Daily Pay to receive paycheck as earned. 

 

Ability to earn daily + quarterly bonuses!

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality preventive and periodontal care in a supportive, patient-focused setting

  • Perform assessments, scaling, root planing, and radiographs

  • Educate patients on oral health, home care techniques, and preventive treatments

  • Maintain accurate and detailed charting and records

  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver an exceptional patient experience

  • Contribute to a productive and positive team environment

  • Manage time efficiently in a fast-paced practice

Qualifications

  • Active dental hygiene license in the state of Illinois

  • New graduates welcome—especially those who are driven and eager to learn!

  • Experience with Dentrix and Microsoft Word is a plus, but not required

  • We work with Dentrix, Velscope, Gemini Diode Laser, and iTero! Laser certification can be provided. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong work ethic, goal-oriented mindset, and team-first attitude

  • Comfortable in a busy, fast-paced office environment

Qualifications:

  • Current dental hygienist license
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by office
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
