Dental Hygienist – Full Time

Location: 219 Breckenridge Lane, Louisville, KY 40207

 

Schedule:

  • Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Bi-weekly, hourly pay + ability to opt into Daily Pay to receive paycheck as earned.

 

Ability to earn daily + quarterly bonuses!

 

We have Arestin, iTero + CE coverage available!

 

Full time is a minimum of 30HRS to receive full benefits package to include UnitedHealthcare

Position Overview

We are seeking a Full-time Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, a strong team player, eager to learn, and enthusiastic about educating patients on preventive care and treatment options. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a supportive environment and is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through personalized care.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
  • Conduct oral health assessments and charting.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Current Kentucky Dental Hygienist license.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and patient education.

Qualifications:

  • Current dental hygienist license
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by office
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
