Office Hours: 

Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

 

 

Beacon Hill Family Dentistry is growing, and we’re looking for a friendly, detail‑oriented Full‑Time Dental Hygienist to join our energetic and collaborative team! We welcome both experienced hygienists and new graduates who are eager to start their career in a supportive, family‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑quality patient care, including prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and patient education.
  • Take and interpret digital radiographs.
  • Review and update patient medical histories with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe operatory.
  • Collaborate closely with dentists and team members to ensure seamless patient care and a positive practice flow.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to build trust and deliver an exceptional experience.
  • Manage time efficiently and remain punctual to support daily scheduling needs.

Qualifications

  • Active Kentucky Dental Hygiene license (or in process for new grads).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to connect with patients of all ages.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in recordkeeping, treatment notes, and clinical procedures.
  • Punctual, dependable, and committed to a consistent full‑time schedule.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitude.
  • Passion for patient education and preventative care.

Qualifications:

  • Current dental hygienist license
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by office
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
