Dental Hygienist – Full Time

Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

 

Halls Crossroads Dental Care is seeking a dependable, team‑oriented Dental Hygienist to join our growing and goal‑driven practice. If you thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment and appreciate working with a supportive, drama‑free team, we’d love to meet you!

While we prefer an experienced hygienist, we are absolutely open to welcoming a new graduate who brings a strong work ethic and a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive dental hygiene treatment including prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and patient education.
  • Perform digital radiographs and assist in maintaining accurate clinical records.
  • Collaborate with the doctor and clinical team to support efficient patient flow and exceptional care.
  • Review patient medical/dental histories and document findings promptly and thoroughly.
  • Educate patients on oral health, home care techniques, and treatment needs.
  • Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols in alignment with practice and state standards.
  • Contribute positively to a team-focused, drama‑free environment and help support daily office goals.

Qualifications

  • Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Tennessee (or in process for new grads).
  • Experience with Dentrix and digital X‑rays is preferred but not required — we’re happy to train the right person.
  • Strong emphasis on teamwork, reliability, and a hardworking mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional patient‑care approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, goal‑oriented practice environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining a positive and collaborative workplace.

Qualifications:

  • Current dental hygienist license
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by office
