Dental Assistants

Dental assistants are an essential part of every Heartland Dental supported office. You will help the dentist handle instruments and supplies during procedures, plus document patient care, take X-rays, impressions, and more. Beyond your certification, procedural expertise, and ability to collaborate with supervising clinicians, we recognize that dental assistants are accountable, reliable, and outgoing professionals who help foster a positive team-building culture every day and who are eager to learn.

Flexible Schedule Options

We understand that dental assistants need schedules that fit their lives—and that flexibility means something different to everyone. To help you achieve the mix of financial security and balance that works for you, many supported offices offer part-time, 4-day work weeks, and evening or weekend hours. Heartland Dental also lets supported dental assistants pick up available shifts in other supported offices, including earning overtime, through our innovative HDflex staffing solution.
