Position Summary:
Office: Green Street Dental Care
Location: Brownsburg, IN
Schedule: Tues, Wed, Fri weekly, every other Thursday

- Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday weekly, every other Thursday

Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction: Greet and welcome patients at the start of their dental journey, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout their treatment.
- Health History Review: Conduct thorough reviews of patients’ health histories to ensure quality care.
- Hygiene Assistance: Provide superior assistance to supported hygienists during various procedures in accordance with the state dental practice act.
- Room Preparation: Set up rooms for all hygiene visits, including stocking and restocking instruments and supplies.
- Patient Scheduling and Record Keeping: Utilize Dentrix for efficient patient scheduling and accurate record-keeping.
- Safety Protocols: Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols, following OSHA & CDC recommendations.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with providers and the team to follow office systems and maximize office workflow.
Minimum Qualifications
- Indiana Radiology License, or permit pending licensing
- Working knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Experience with a dental software system, such as Dentrix
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- The position will have access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job-related functions; regular HIPAA training, aligning with the specific role and responsibilities, will be required; and the individual will need to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.
