Schedule:

  • Tuesday: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:45 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Thursday: 6:45 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing when necessary
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment care
  • Take and interpret digital x-rays
  • Document patient care and treatment plans in Dentrix or similar software
  • Assist the dentist with treatments and examinations as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Dental Hygienist (RDH) in the state of Tennessee
  • New graduates and experienced hygienists are welcome to apply
  • Dentrix experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Dependable, energetic, open-minded, and flexible
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Qualifications:

  • Current dental hygienist license and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by office
