We are seeking a talented dental hygienist to join our team and contribute to our continued growth.

 

About the Office
Dental Care of Cookeville is a thriving, patient-focused dental practice located in the heart of Cookeville, TN. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care in a welcoming and efficient environment. Our team is dedicated to creating positive experiences for every patient, and we work collaboratively to maintain a standard of excellence in all aspects of dental hygiene and treatment.

Our office hours are:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

We are a fast-paced, growing practice seeking a goal-oriented, hardworking dental hygienist who thrives in a team setting. The ideal candidate is organized, an excellent communicator, and able to multi-task effectively in a dynamic environment. A passion for patient care and a proactive, team-first mindset are essential.

 

Position Highlights

Responsibilities

  • Provide preventive dental care and patient education
  • Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
  • Take and review dental radiographs
  • Maintain accurate patient records and charting
  • Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure optimal patient care
  • Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols

Qualifications

  • Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Tennessee
  • CPR certification
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive attitude and commitment to patient care

Qualifications:

  • Current dental hygienist license
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by office
