Position Summary:
Practice Manager of Operations
Smiles On Delaware, is looking for a Practice Manager of Operations to join our team.

- Salaried, exempt, full-time position
- Schedule revolves around office hours; Monday 8:00-4:00; Tuesday-Thursday 8:00-5:00; Friday 8:00-3:00; No weekends

Experience
- 1+ years of experience in a dental setting preferred; Ability to train if holds leadership experience in other backgrounds
- 1+ years of experience with insurance billing and accounts receivable
- Must have experience leading and supporting a team
- Dentrix or other dental software experience
- Ability to meet and be aware of daily/monthly goals, and must be able to meet budget; Results focused
- Strong go-getter, and team builder, bringing a kind and upbeat demeanor
- Ability to bring a team together and create cohesiveness
- Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
- Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies
- Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
- Trustworthy; maintain patient confidentially and team ethics
- The position will have access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job-related functions; regular HIPAA training, aligning with the specific role and responsibilities, will be required; and the individual will need to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards.

- Serve as a business partner to the supported Doctor, ensuring the office delivers unparalleled support and service to both Doctor and patients
- Guide your team by focusing on constant and never-ending improvement, creating an environment where team members become masters of their individual roles
- Set the standard for exceptional customer service and team member collaboration as a key relationship builder
- Oversee the daily operations of the office, including things like filing patient claims with insurance companies and managing payments, resolving patient issues, coordinating team schedules, and tracking inventory levels
- Select, onboard, train, coach, and retain world-class team members
- Review, analyze and use business reports to identify missed opportunities and recommend and implement best practices and systems needed to positively impact office performance

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person once conditions allow) periodically throughout the year (some travel will eventually be involved)
- As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
