What You’ll Do

  • Deliver exceptional preventive and therapeutic dental care
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and its connection to overall health
  • Perform periodontal charting, fluoride treatments, and sealant applications
  • Capture and review digital X-rays with precision
  • Collaborate closely with the doctor and team to ensure seamless care
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and compliant patient records
  • Support and help refine office protocols for optimal efficiency
  • Uphold the highest standards of infection control and OSHA compliance

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: No experience required – new graduates welcome!
  • Licensure: Active Maryland Dental Hygiene License & current CPR certification
  • Skills & Traits:
    • Self-starter with strong attention to detail
    • Natural leader aligned with the doctor’s vision
    • Excellent communicator and team player
    • Dentrix experience is a plus (not required)
    • Professional, polished, and committed to long-term growth

Qualifications:

  • Current dental hygienist license
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by office
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
