Position Summary:
IT De Novo Project Support Specialist, Information Technology
The De Novo Project Support Specialist is a project-oriented role responsible for directing the following: installation, configuration, and support of network, low voltage, multimedia, and computer equipment for new construction dental office clinics, also known as, “De Novo” offices. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: vendor relations, cross-departmental partnership, timeline management, scheduling, documentation, and cost tracking. As a member of the IT De Novo team you will support the IT installation and manage to resolution any reported issues involving the installation and functionality of network and computer equipment installed throughout the on-boarding process (opening week of each project/site).

This position will report to the IT De Novo Manager.
Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities involved in this role:
- Responsible for managing all IT aspects of the design, development, and implementation of each respective De Novo project, while providing IT guidance to field administrators, Support Office departments, and on-site construction stakeholders
- Accountable for directing IT De Novo work efforts (including external vendor scope), reviewing integrated project plans, escalating and communicating resource needs, ensuring completion of quality reviews, and driving the resolution of issues as appropriate.
- Independently review work orders, layout sheets, building plans, floor-plans, and descriptions to ensure proper equipment placement and functionality
- Accountable for meeting IT service levels for each De Novo by verifying all IT network, computer, telecommunications, and clinical imaging equipment are operational on time, while meeting all business requirements
- Direct low voltage cabling and IT equipment installations for each De Novo site
- Accountable for the execution of established project management processes and methodologies to ensure delivery of project scope on time and within budget while meeting or exceeding quality standards and customer expectations.
- Review and maintain documentation on vendor installation processes and technical configuration of devices and systems installed within each De Novo dental office
- Perform project wrap-up tasks via documented process, including but not limited to closure of project tickets, vendor invoicing, and updating IT informational databases
- Communicate project and issue resolution status to all stakeholders throughout De Novo project timeline
Minimum Requirements:
- Associates degree in IT related field or 1 year or more of experience in a telecommunications, information technology, or networking role
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail with good organizational capabilities
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written in order to effectively interact with customers/stakeholders and external vendors
- Proficient documentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure, especially in emergency situations
- Ability to work with confidence in a fast-paced environment under limited supervision
- Ability to prioritize with good time management skills
- Ability to work within a team and provide excellent customer service
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think outside of the box
