Schedule:

  • Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

About the Role:
Dental Care of Huntsville is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our energetic and collaborative team. We welcome both experienced professionals and new graduates who are passionate about patient care and excited to grow in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene care to patients
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and overall dental health
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure optimal patient care
  • Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of hygiene tools and operatory
  • Contribute to a positive, high-energy office culture

Qualifications

  • Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Alabama
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply!
  • Dentrix experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexible, high-energy, and team-oriented
  • Kind, helpful, and excited to grow professionally
  • “I” personality type preferred – outgoing, enthusiastic, and people-focused

Qualifications:

  • Current dental hygienist license
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by office
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
